Good-bye 2012!

A message a friend sent me earlier and I thought to share..

Today, I lay still, reminiscing & reflecting on the outgoing year. Reality gradually dawns that in a few hours, we’ll be bidding 2012 farewell just like the years before it. It will soon enter into eternal archive & would only be remembered when making historical references.

But the question is, what memory does 2012 hold for you? Do we share similarities in the sense that the year was a blend of moments of pain, rejection, betrayal, distrust, shame, seeming failures & a just enough dilutive dose of success, achievements, love & hope.
However, whatever page 2012 opened up for you, the good news is that on this last day of the year, you are very much alive & hearty. With the rare gift of life intact my dear, there is HOPE enough to propel a rewriting of your negative experiences in the new year.

But most importantly, I wish to offer these 3 prayers to guide you through the coming year:

1. The grace to SEE more clearly (Vision that sets you apart from others and more advantageous perspective to achieve & break new grounds)

2. The grace to LOVE more dearly (ability to covet relationships. Not betraying other people’s trust & most importantly, being selfless in your relationship with people at all facets)

3. The grace to FOLLOW more nearly (strengthen your personal relationship with God bearing in mind that He alone holds the keys to your life in 2013. Seek Him first and never be far from His presence).

Once, twice & a million times, I thank you for being a part of my 2012. I truly do appreciate you & I thank God for your life. Let’s make it happen in 2013.

Happy New Year in advance!
